Can you be a ‘Lifeline’ to others?
Premier Lifeline: the National Christian Helpline is a confidential telephone helpline offering emotional and spiritual support from a Christian perspective along with a listening ear and prayer.
For over 22 years, Premier Lifeline has been available to take calls from people wanting someone to talk to and in need of help. In that time we have taken over 1.3 million calls.
To meet the ever increasing number of calls, we are seeking to dramatically increase the number of volunteers at Premier Lifeline over the next few years from our existing 130 volunteers to over 500, so that we are always able to be there for everyone who calls in need of support and prayer.
Do you have what it takes to be a volunteer with Premier Lifeline?
Volunteers are at the heart of Premier Lifeline - without our volunteers the service would not exist.
Can you be a 'Lifeline' to those in need of help and support?
We are looking for committed, caring and considerate people to become volunteer Lifeline listeners. You need to have access to a landline telephone and be able to offer a regular commitment of 4 hours per week.
You will be fully trained by experienced trainers to prepare you for your role and will receive on-going support.
Steps to become a Lifeliner
You will be invited to an “Introduction to Premier Lifeline” seminar to learn about Premier Lifeline and explore whether God is calling you to volunteer with us. Location and timing dependant on spread of interested persons.
