ADDICTIONS
Don’t you realise that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honour God with your body. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
ANGER
And “don’t sin by letting anger control you. ”Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry Ephesians 4:26
BIBLE

BLESSING
May the LORD bless you and protect you. May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you. May the LORD show you his favour and give you his peace. Numbers 6:24-26
BROKENHEARTED
He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds. Psalm 147:3
CELEBRATION
And Nehemiah continued, “Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the LORD is your strength!” Nehemiah 8:10
COMMITMENT
And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. Romans 12:1
COMPASSION
The LORD is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. Psalm 145:8
COMMUNITY
Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2
CONFESSION
But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. 1 John 1.9
DEATH
And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
DECISIONS
If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. James 1:5-6
DEPRESSION
I waited patiently for the LORD to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. Psalm 40:1-2
DOUBTS
When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer. Psalm 94:19
EQUALITY
There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:28
ETERNAL LIFE
For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
FEAR
Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. Isaiah 41:10
FORGIVENESS
Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Colossians 3.13
FRIENDSHIP
A friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need. Proverbs 17:17
FUTURE
For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11
GOSSIP
A troublemaker plants seeds of strife; gossip separates the best of friends. Proverbs 16:28
GRIEF
The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. Psalm 34.18
GUIDANCE
Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Proverbs 3: 5-6
GUILT
For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. Romans 3:23-24
HELP AND HOSPITALITY
When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality. Romans 12:13
HONESTY
So stop telling lies. Let us tell our neighbours the truth, for we are all parts of the same body. Ephesians 4:25
JEALOUSY
So get rid of all evil behaviour. Be done with all deceit, hypocrisy, jealousy, and all unkind speech. 1 Peter 2:1
JUSTICE
O people, the LORD has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God. Micah 6:8
LONELINESS
I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you. John 14:18
LOVE
But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. Romans 5:8
MONEY
Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be. Matthew 6:19-21
MOTIVATION – We should pursue treasure in heaven
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Hebrews 12:1-2a
MOURNING – God comforts those who mourn
God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Matthew 5:4
PEER PRESSURE
Don’t do as the wicked do, and don’t follow the path of evildoers. Don’t even think about it; don’t go that way. Turn away and keep moving. Proverbs 4:14-15
PERSEVERANCE
So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. Galatians 6:9
PROTECTION
The LORD is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him. Nahum 1:7
REFUGEES
You must not mistreat or oppress foreigners in any way. Remember, you yourselves were once foreigners in the land of Egypt. Exodus 22:21
REJECTION AND ACCEPTANCE
Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. Revelation 3.20
RENEW
Throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Ephesians 4:22-23
SELF ESTEEM – God values you so much
What is the price of five sparrows—two copper coins? Yet God does not forget a single one of them. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows. Luke 12:6-7
SEX
Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God. Let there be no sexual immorality, impurity, or greed among you. Such sins have no place among God’s people. Ephesians 5:2-3
SLEEP
In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O LORD, will keep me safe. Psalm 4:8
SUFFERING
In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation. 1 Peter 5:10
TEMPTATION
The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure. 1 Corinthians 10:13
THOUGHTS
Don’t copy the behaviour and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:2
TIREDNESS
But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31
TROUBLED
God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. Psalm 46:1
UNITY
I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me. John 17:20-21
WEAKNESS
This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. Hebrews 4:15-16
WORRY
Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. 1 Peter 5:7
